This Policy explains how the Nicoxit "Refund if you don't quit" guarantee, cancellations, and chargebacks work. It is operated by Quitzen Studio LLP ("we", "us") and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Nothing in this Policy overrides any non-waivable rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.
1. In Short
- If you complete the 7-day Nicoxit course and still use nicotine, you can request a full refund of your first subscription payment — within 30 days of that first payment.
- "Complete" is defined by objective usage signals we can verify from your account (Section 4). This is not a "mark-complete-and-refund" scheme.
- One refund per person. First subscription only. Not applicable to renewals.
- Apple App Store users: Apple handles all refunds under Apple's rules. We cannot process Apple refunds ourselves.
- Google Play users: we issue the refund directly through the Play Console.
- Direct-web users (nicoxit.app): we refund to your original payment method.
The full mechanic and conditions are below.
2. Why This Guarantee Exists
Nicoxit is built on a specific promise: the belief work in the 7-day course should make continued nicotine use feel unnecessary by Day 7. If you finish the course and that promise is not true for you, we should not keep your money. This guarantee is our way of standing behind that.
It is not a general "money-back" scheme. It is specifically tied to the outcome of the course.
3. Who Is Eligible
You are eligible to request a refund under this guarantee if all of the following are true:
- You purchased a first-time paid subscription to Nicoxit (renewals are not eligible — see Section 7).
- You completed the 7-day course as defined in Section 4.
- You are still using nicotine at the time of the request (self-attested; you tell us in your email).
- Your request reaches us within 30 days of the date of your first subscription payment (Section 5).
- Your Nicoxit account still exists at the time of the request (Section 6).
- You have not already used this guarantee — from this account, from any linked account, or from any account we can reasonably link to you (Section 8).
If any of these is not met, we cannot process the refund. We may still be able to help you with a cancellation or a support resolution — write to us.
4. What "Completed the Course" Means
We measure completion by signals from your account. Marking modules complete is not enough. To qualify, all of the following must be true:
- All 7 days finished. Days 1 through 7 registered as complete on your account.
- The 24-hour gate honoured. Day N+1 was reached at least 24 hours after Day N's required exercises were finished, in line with the course architecture — no artificial fast-forwarding through the days.
- Required exercises submitted with real content. Every required exercise for each day was submitted with meaningful (non-empty, non-placeholder) content. Empty text fields, single-character entries, or clearly gamed submissions do not qualify.
- Audio played, not skipped. For each module, the audio was substantively played on your device — not skipped past the first few seconds.
- Day 7 Future Self Letter sealed. The Day 7 Future Self Letter exercise was completed and sealed — this is the moment the app treats as "course complete" and is the same event that triggers the scheduled follow-up emails.
These signals are automatically logged as part of the normal course flow. We check them from your account when you request a refund. We do not require you to prove anything.
If, for a genuine reason (illness, life event, technical fault on our side), you cannot meet one of these signals, tell us in your email. We will look at the account and use judgement.
5. When You Must Request It
The refund request must be sent to support@nicoxit.app within 30 calendar days of the date on which we first charged you for the subscription.
- If you paused the course during the 7 days, that is fine — pauses are supported by design. But the outer 30-day window still runs from the date of your first payment.
- Requests received after 30 days are not eligible under this guarantee. You may still cancel your subscription (Section 9).
6. If You Delete Your Account First
Please do not delete your account before requesting the refund.
If your account is deleted:
- The usage signals we need to verify completion (Section 4) are removed along with it, as required by our Privacy Policy.
- We cannot reconstruct them from backups for the purpose of a refund review.
- The refund cannot be processed.
This is a data-hygiene consequence, not a trap. The Privacy Policy explains what happens on account deletion.
7. First Subscription Only
The guarantee applies only to your first paid subscription with Nicoxit.
- Renewals are not eligible. If you allowed your subscription to renew, that renewal payment cannot be refunded under this guarantee.
- If you subscribe again after a lapse, that later subscription is treated as a renewal for the purpose of this guarantee, not as a first subscription.
- Any promotional or discounted first-month price you paid is the amount refunded. We do not top up to the standard price.
8. One Refund Per Person
Each person is eligible for one refund under this guarantee — ever.
To prevent abuse, we treat as the same person any accounts we can reasonably link by:
- The same email address (including obvious variants such as dots or plus-addressing in Gmail);
- The same Apple ID or Google Play account;
- The same payment instrument (card fingerprint, UPI VPA, wallet ID);
- The same device identifier;
- The same IP address across a short period.
If a link is found, only the first eligible refund is honoured; subsequent requests are declined.
9. Cancellation (Separate From Refund)
Cancelling is different from requesting a refund. You may cancel your subscription at any time, whether or not you are eligible for a refund.
- Apple App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nicoxit → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Nicoxit → Cancel.
- Direct-web (nicoxit.app): from your account page or by writing to support@nicoxit.app.
Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the current paid period. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the next charge.
10. How Refunds Are Paid, By Purchase Channel
10.1 Apple App Store subscribers
Apple bills you and Apple decides refunds. Apple's policy governs.
- Request through reportaproblem.apple.com or via Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nicoxit → Report a Problem.
- We do not issue refunds to Apple subscribers through any side channel — no PayPal, no gift vouchers, no bank transfer. This protects you (clean audit trail, no tax or FEMA irregularity) and protects the app's standing on the App Store.
- If Apple grants the refund, we honour it and end paid access accordingly. If Apple declines, we cannot override that decision.
10.2 Google Play subscribers
Google Play allows us to issue a refund directly through the Play Console once we have verified your completion (Section 4).
- Write to support@nicoxit.app from the email address on your Nicoxit account.
- Once verified, we initiate the refund through the Play Console. It typically appears on your original payment method within 3–7 business days, subject to Google Play and your bank.
10.3 Direct-web subscribers (nicoxit.app)
We refund to the original payment method via our payment gateway.
- Write to support@nicoxit.app from the email address on your Nicoxit account.
- Once verified, we initiate the refund. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your card or bank statement, depending on your bank.
11. What Happens After Refund
- Access to paid content ends as soon as we begin processing the refund. You retain your account and the free tier.
- Referral-earned days are forfeited. Any premium days you earned through the referral programme are removed.
- Referrals you made are unaffected. People who joined through your referral link are not affected.
- The guarantee is exhausted for you (Section 8).
12. What This Guarantee Does NOT Cover
- Payments made to any third party other than us (for example, network or gateway fees your bank imposes).
- Currency-conversion losses or foreign-exchange fees imposed by your card issuer.
- Subscriptions purchased through a promotional partner or a bundle we did not directly operate.
- Failed payments and involuntary cancellations (Section 13).
- Any product or feature we may offer in the future that is designated at the point of sale as "no refund" (for example, one-time content unlocks, gift purchases). We will make any such exclusion clear at checkout.
13. Failed Payments
If a scheduled renewal payment fails, we retry as permitted, notify you by email and in-app, and downgrade your account to the free tier if the payment cannot be recovered. Your Content is preserved on the free tier as described in the Privacy Policy. You can re-subscribe at any time.
14. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of writing to us first:
- We may suspend your account while the dispute is under investigation.
- We may share transaction data, IP, and usage data with the payment gateway and card network to defend the charge, as permitted by our Privacy Policy.
- If the chargeback is granted after we have provided the Service, we reserve the right to recover the reversed amount, block the account, and treat the matter as a breach of the Terms of Service.
- If the chargeback is granted for a first subscription that would have qualified under this guarantee, we will not pursue you further. If it is not, we will.
Please write to us at support@nicoxit.app before initiating a chargeback. In almost every case where the guarantee applies, we would rather refund you directly than have your bank do it.
15. Currency, Taxes, and Prices
- Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes (for Indian users, GST) unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds are made in the currency of the original charge, at the amount actually charged.
- We do not compensate for currency-conversion differences or foreign-exchange fees imposed by your bank.
16. Free Tier
The free tier (Day 1, Modules 1–3, plus the always-available tools) does not require payment. There is nothing to refund. You can stop using the free tier at any time by deleting your account.
17. How to Request a Refund — Summary
For Apple App Store subscribers, request from Apple directly (Section 10.1).
For Google Play and direct-web subscribers:
- Email support@nicoxit.app from the email address on your Nicoxit account.
- Subject line: "Refund request — [your account email]".
- Include:
- Date of first purchase;
- Transaction ID (from the receipt we emailed you);
- Confirmation that you completed the 7-day course and still use nicotine.
- We will acknowledge within 2 business days and, if the criteria are met, initiate the refund within 5 business days of acknowledgement.
- Please do not delete your account before hearing back from us (Section 6).
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes are notified in-app or by email before they take effect. Refund requests are evaluated under the Policy in effect at the time of your first subscription payment.
19. Contact

If the course does the work we claim it does, you will not need this policy. It exists because we know that is not true for everyone — and we would rather return money that isn't earned than keep it.
