- 2Go to the Profile tab, then tap Settings.
- 3Tap Delete account.
- 4Read the summary of what gets erased, then confirm.

Deleted permanently.
When your account is deleted, all of the following is erased from our live systems within 30 days. None of it can be recovered afterwards — not by you, and not by us.
Account data
Name or nickname, email address, hashed password, profile photo, any optional profile fields.
Your Content
First Sentence, Belief Inventory, Awareness Logs, journal entries, Breakup Letter, Anchor Statement, Future Self Letter, mood inputs and exercise responses.
AI Coach conversations
Every message you sent the in-app coach, its replies, and the derived chat summaries.
Trackers and progress
Course day, days-free counter, streaks, milestones, sessions avoided, urge-surf counts, mood trend.
Community activity
Your posts, replies and saved posts.
Referral linkage
Your referral code and the referrer/referred connections tied to your account.
Push notification tokens
The device tokens used to send you reminders.
A few things we're required to keep.
We keep the minimum the law allows us to keep — nothing more, and never your course content. Each item below is held for a fixed period and then destroyed.
Payment and transaction records
Up to 8 yearsRequired by Indian law — the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable tax and GST laws. These are billing records (transaction ID, amount, tier), not your course content. We never store card numbers or bank credentials.
Support and grievance records
While the matter is open, then as law requiresSo we can resolve disputes and meet audit obligations. Kept only where there is an active or recent matter.
Scheduled deliveries you opted into
Until delivered, then erasedIf you sealed a Future Self Letter with a scheduled return date, that one item is isolated, delivered, and then deleted. Tell us on the form if you'd rather we destroy it instead.
Backups
Overwritten within about 35 daysDeleted data lingers in encrypted rolling backups until they cycle out. It is not restored to live systems.
De-identified analytics
IndefinitelyAggregate counts that cannot be linked back to you — for example, how many people finished Day 3.
Two things to check before you delete.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Nicoxit account does not cancel an active subscription — those are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by us. Cancel it in the store first: Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Want a break, not an ending?
If you just want to step away, the app's Profile → Settings → Deactivate account hides your account and keeps your progress — signing back in restores everything. Deletion is the permanent one.
